The VOA BBQ Bash will be hosted at the Voice of America Park in West Chester. Find driving directions and details below. Admission is $5 per Car or $2 Walk-ins.
From I-75 North | Exit # 22 Turn LEFT, Go .6 Miles | Turn LEFT onto Cox Rd., Go .6 Miles | Turn Right onto VOA Park Drive.
From I-75 South | Exit # 22 Turn RIGHT, Go .6 Miles | Turn LEFT onto Cox Rd., Go .6 Miles | Turn RIGHT onto VOA Park Drive.
Parking is available at Voice of America Park. Enter on Cox Road. Parking may also be available at the VOA Museum. Enter on Tylersville Road. Overflow parking is across the street at the West Chester Church of the Nazarene on Tylersville Road and the West Chester Medical Hospital, 7700 University Drive.
The former Voice of America Bethany Station served the world for more than 50 years delivering news of freedom and democracy to oppressed citizens in faraway lands.
The 1940's art-deco building is being restored and developed as the The National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting.The Museum features the collections of Media Heritage, Inc. and Gray History of Wireless, as well as an operating amateur radio station. The Museum will be open for tours during the Voice of America BBQ Bash.
This 435-acre park, operated by MetroParks of Butler County, is rapidly becoming one of the premier parks in the midwest. The park features a stocked 35-acre lake circled by a 1.4 mile paved multi-purpose path. Visitors can fish, walk, jog, or just sit and enjoy the view from the patio at the new Ronald Reagan Lodge. There is also a pavilion for picnic lunches and gatherings or just people-watching. Wiggly Field Dog Park allows our four-legged friends to enjoy the park too!
